Cancellation Policy

Terms of Payment

To secure your booking at Aurland Fjordhytter, the following payment terms apply:

• A deposit of 25% of the total rental amount is required to confirm your booking
• The remaining balance must be paid two months (60 days) before your arrival date
• For bookings made less than two months before arrival, the full amount is due at the time of booking

Cancellation Costs

Should you need to cancel your reservation, the following charges will apply based on the timing of your cancellation:

• More than 70 days before arrival: 10% of the total rental amount
• 69-40 days before arrival: 25% of the total rental amount
• Less than 40 days before arrival: 100% of the total rental amount

How to Cancel

All cancellations must be submitted in writing via email to: booking@aurland-fjordhytter.no

Please include the name used when booking and the planned arrival date in your cancellation email. You will receive a confirmation of your cancellation within 24 hours.

Special Circumstances

• Airbnb Bookings: For reservations made through Airbnb, please note that Airbnb's own cancellation policies apply instead of our standard policy
• Early Departure: No refund will be provided for early departure or late arrival
• Force Majeure: In cases of force majeure or circumstances beyond our control, alternative arrangements or credit for future stays may be offered

Travel Insurance

We strongly recommend that all guests obtain comprehensive travel insurance to cover potential cancellation costs, travel disruptions, and other unforeseen circumstances.
