5 stars just doesn't do this wonderful place justice. The setting and views are world class. When you're 13 year old would rather watch the views than the TV you know you've found somewhere very special. We had the absolute pleasure of spending all of Christmas and New Year here and we were treated to the amazing Norwegian hospitality, fireworks and a rare surprise visit from the aurora borealis. This is a unique location run by a fabulous host who couldn't do enough to help and gave us brilliant advice whenever we asked. Everyone should visit Norway 🇳🇴 at least once in thier lives and quite frankly you'd struggle to find a nicer place to stay. can't wait to return...soon

Aurland was our favorite stop on our winter Norwegian holiday!! The views from the Airbnb are absolutely incredible. Additionally, the host went above & beyond to accommodate us during our stay and helped with transportation. Winter is the off season for tourism in this area but it was a peaceful and cozy scenic getaway!

The most beautiful Airbnb I've ever stayed at. The view is absolutely incredible, the pictures don't even begin to do it justice. Tord was very responsive to any questions or requests we had. The home was perfect and cozy for our group of 3. If we're ever lucky enough to return to Norway, we will definitely stay again!!

When we arrived the house was clean as advertised and the owner was very prompt to any questions we had. Before arriving to the cabin, we were well informed of the amenities at the house and the proper procedures for opening/closing the house. The view was breathtaking and the nearby towns were spectacular. We will be booking here again.

This cabin is beautiful and right on the fjord as shown. Very clean, comfortable beds, nice Kitchen amenities. It was the most perfect location in Aurland and very peaceful. We truly enjoyed our stay and would absolutely return!

Our family of 5 (kids aged 15, 12, 9) stayed here for 2 nights and it was the most magical part of our time in Norway. Aurland is very quiet and peaceful. We took the public bus from Flam and walked around 20 minutes to the cabin. I know you can hire a taxi as well. The cabin is spotless, beds comfortable and the location is breathtaking - one of the most beautiful places we have ever stayed at. They offer a boat rental which we decided to do last minute and it was the best decision we made. The host came and showed us how to use the boat. We took the boat around to explore the waterfall and surrounding area. We came across a family of porpoises! We could not make this up. Core memories made for our whole family. A completely unforgettable experience. I would not hesitate to book this place again or recommend to anyone else.

Highly recommend this house!!! The scenery is absolutely stunning, located right by the fjord. You can even rent a boat to enjoy the fjord's views yourself. The host is very warm and welcoming, teaching us how to use the boat. We had a perfect weekend here, and if we have the chance, we will definitely come back.

What a lovely place, we felt like we had the whole fjord to ourselves! It's the perfect house to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city. We enjoyed listening to the seagulls play and water move while sitting on the deck. House has everything we needed. It was well insulated even without heating system. It's a house that anyone would love to keep going back. Supermarket and restaurants are only a couple minutes drive away. Host was very helpful with our queries.

This cabin has an idyllic location, as shown in the photos. The surroundings are beautiful! Its proximity to the Spar store is very helpful, it's a large grocery for a small town. The cabin is well-kept and immaculately clean. Communication with the host was very fast and helpful. He helped us with additional firewood on request. Especially after visiting the over-touristed Flam we were glad we booked this place!

Absolutely breathtaking and tranquil! Close enough to Flåm to enjoy the activities (especially the fjord cruise to Gudvagen) but still enough space to enjoy the peaceful space along Aurlandfjord. Cafe, restaurant and grocery right up the road in Aurland and the kitchen was well equipped for us to cook and enjoy a dinner overlooking the fjord. We look forward to coming back during the summer and experiencing it all over again!

This place is just perfect. We went with another family and hired both properties for New Year's. The property was immaculate throughout and had everything needed to live comfortably during our stay. Before we left, Tord was incredibly helpful answering loads of our questions and he went out of his way to ensure we had everything we needed ahead of our stay. It is a 2.5 hour drive from Bergen but the drive is beautiful and you can stop in Voss along the way. You MUST book the floating Sauna in Flam and it is well worth going to the viewpoint above Aurland. To be honest, this place is so beautiful, it is worth just wrapping up warm and sitting on the balcony with a drink. It is simply stunning.

We arrived on a cold rainy night and the cabin was warm and clean and so welcoming. The beds were very comfortable and clean and the cabin has everything you need to stay for a while and really call it home The views cannot be beat, my Husband and I spent hours every evening on the deck just staring at the beauty. The town is also very beautiful and there are a lot of stunning local attractions

The two Cabins are located direct at the spectacular Aurlandsfjorden. They own big terasses and a huge platform built on the fjord, where you can watch the spectacular passing of big cruise ships or directly enter one of the boats provided by the owners. You'll find everything you need, the interiour is charming and has a great quality. There is nothing to say about the location but perfect. A bit outside the town, very few traffic on the dead end road. Sjur and Tuve are very nice Hosts, friendly and helpful. I'm happy to meet them again, when we return to this great place!

We spent a few wonderful days in Aurland Fjordhytter at the end of June. The cabins are located right by the fjord, and from the terrace there is a fantastic view. The contact with the owner was problem-free. The cabin was well equipped, clean and cozy, there is parking next to the cabin. It is possible to rent a boat for an additional fee (in season, of course). The cabins are located in such a way that they can be a starting point for trips to nearby towns and attractions (Stegastein, Flåm, Lærdal, etc.). We highly recommend it😊😊😊

We have been enthusiastic about cabin holidays in Norway for more than 20 years and have experienced many beautiful and beautifully located accommodations - but Aurland Fjordhytter is an absolute blast! A spotlessly clean, solid holiday home with solid furnishings right by the fjord with a stunning view - what more could you want! Endless excursion destinations and hiking destinations and last but not least a beautiful and proud Norwegian woman who handed us the key to a Norwegian paradise, gave us short and factual instructions and then let us do our thing - thank you very much for a fantastic week in May 2019!
